Are they giving this stuff away for free?
After strolling through what seemed like a fairly empty mall, I finally stumbled across where all the drivers of the cars in the parking lot must have been, Best Buy.

Before even coming to the entrance of the electronics supplier you could see swarms of people headed for the narrow hallway that leads down to the store. And, once you ventured down the hall, there was no turning back.
Shoppers were first greeted by a row of yellow shirted workers serving as security for this massive turnout. All were friendly and welcoming of the shoppers, leaving one to wonder how an individual could be so calm with the chaos that ensued inside their store for this was the last point of sanity for most.
Once making your way past the detectors it was hard to even know where to begin. Lines formed everywhere, starting at one end of the place and wrapping around clear to the other side. One man seemed to be trying to rally the troops for some organization, but despite his shouts of “Order! Order!” the pushing and shoving remained and it was clearly every shopper for themselves.

I barely made my way through the store before I nearly hyperventilated from the lack of space and oxygen. If it wasn’t for the lines you would have thought it to be a riot. And, with the long wait times, I am surprised a riot did not occur. Some people waited as long as 30 minutes for their coveted video games and household appliances. Situations like this really make you think…is it all really worth it to save a buck?
