"I need a bed"
Despite the excitement, the coffee and the overall thrill of the day, not everyone was up for the shopping challenge. Some were awake as ever and ready to sniff out a bargain while others wandered around like zombies waiting for it to all end.
As I walked by one man I heard him exclaim to a friend “I need a bed.” His friend chuckled and carried on but the man himself looked as if he may have seized a bench at any moment to catch a few zzz’s. And, after waking u at 4:30am and experiencing the madness of the mall, I may have just joined him myself, that is if I didn’t have a job to do.
