Where is everyone?

Upon entering the Square One Mall, at the crisp hour of 5am, there was hardly a soul in sight. Well, except for the cleaning crew who, for the one time all year, were actually present during shopping hours.

Then finally I stumbled upon my first line at what I would find to be the most necessary of all stops, Dunkin’ Donuts.

Here people lined up for their daily dose of caffeine to help them through this rigorous day of shopping they were about to endure. However, once I saw the lines that lay ahead of them, I doubted that even a double jolt of the coffee kind would be enough to help these folks make it through Black Friday.
